Good News/Bad News for Lamar Building

In July Finley received good news that the roof and air conditioners at our Lamar office would be replaced due to hail damage.  We had been having issues with leaking in certain areas of the office, so the news of getting a new roof was very exciting!

Our contractor started the work and picked a rain free week, or so they thought.  Missouri, much like the areas where many of our office are located, has very diverse and quickly changing weather.  As the work progressed on the roof, the storms moved in. 

Our team in Lamar came in one morning and found that parts of our Accounting team’s office were under water.  Many of our Finley teammates sprang into action to help keep the damage to a minimum.

A special thank you to everyone who rallied around and helped move furniture, push water, pick up ceiling tiles, and dumped buckets.  Your help and support was much appreciated!

Stan Rawlings was the crane operator/owner that put the AC units on Lamar's building and removed the old ones. He had a drone take pictures of the work and he was nice enough to email this picture. Below are a few links so you can view the damage:
