Partnership May Help Accelerate 5G Drone Applications

Virginia Tech and MITRE Engenuity’s Open Generation Consortium (Open Gen) are partnering to research, test and develop 5G drone applications. The partners will examine issues that interfere with safe drone flight, examining how drones react to obstacles in their path, with testing occurring at Virginia Tech’s drone park.

ABI: North  American Telco Cloud Revenues to Reach $10B by 2025

Between this year and 2025, global telco cloud revenue will jump from $8.7 billion to $29.3 billion, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27%. The North American market will be worth $10 billion by the end of the period, according to ABI Research projections.
